What We Stand For

Safe Harbor Strategies started as a small dream...to make emergency preparedness accessible to everyone. After spending many years in the emergency response and crisis management field, I began to see how many nonprofit organizations did not have the time, money or staffing to adequately create and prepare emergency operations plans, let alone put them into practice. Many organizations I interacted with had paid exorbitant amounts of money to outside consultants for emergency plans they could not even use or understand or they had received trainings that was traumatizing and hurtful to marginalized communities. Our goal then was simple. Our firm would provide safety and security solutions that were affordable and inclusive to the communities our clients worked in and personally tailored to our client's needs.

We want to live in a world where everyone can feel safe and included in the spaces and communities where they live. With the continuous rise of domestic terrorist attacks in the United States, we want to prepare nonprofit organizations so that they can respond when crisis strikes.
